Hola, mi Nombre es Álvaro, vivo en Santiago, específicamente en mi caverna con wifi. Estudié Animación digital, pero siempre tire hacia la ilustración, ahora a un poco de haber terminado mi carrera, deje de trabajar como animador y empecé a buscar un caminito por la Ilustración.
Bueno, como la gran mayoría de personas que conozco, empecé a dibujar de muy chico, me gustaba mucho dibujar animales, mis Abuelos tenían todos los tomos de la enciclopedia Salvat de fauna, así que yo gastaba todo mi día dibujando animales de la enciclopedia… también cuando era chico recuerdo que mis primos llegaron con las cartas Magic, y eso dio lugar a un montón de dibujos mas haha
Ya cuando estaba en 4to medio era fijo que tenia que estudiar algo con dibujo, era un tiro al aire para todas las materias, así que por descarte, termine en Animación Digital, tal vez un error o tal vez no, pero yo quería dibujar, específicamente Pintar… así que cada vez que tocaba animar algo, yo me las arreglaba para hacer los Backgrounds y asi empecé a soltar de apoco la mano en lo que es pintura
Mi trabajo actual no lleva una línea ni algún estilo en particular, en este momento solo intento mejorar con cada ilustración que hago, dar un paso, lo que lleva a que mis ilustraciones no tenga una «marca» algo que las identifique, ya que cada ilustrador que veo en revistas, tutoriales, videos, juegos, etc, me motiva a intentar pintar algo como esa persona y absorber un poco de su técnica y mezclarlo con lo que ya se, siempre estudiando y siendo yo mismo el critico mas estricto con mi trabajo.
lo ultimo en lo que he participado, es en el Proyecto de la Pokedex Chilena, donde me Toco ilustrar a Ho-Oh, este proyecto fue claramente un gran oportunidad para todos los que participamos, de dar a conocer nuestro trabajo con Libertad, de conocer ilustradores y generar contactos, un montón de gente talentosa y amable
